The 987xt carries 6 pairs of skis and 4 snowboards. The 987xt is a carrier and requires the purchase of Thule bike carrier to carry equipment. Not for off road use. Hitch carriers will increase overall length of vehicle, use caution when backing up. Do not operate without carrier in upright and locked position. CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALS: Structural steel, black powder coated.
