Geax's first MTB TUBULAR. Mtb tubular is on a league of his own in terms of mtb performances that no tubeless or tube- type tyre can even came close. The perfectly round shape and the Polycotton casing (directly derived from road racing) sumup for a product that's umbelivabily performing - it must be tryed to be believed. The most important characteristics that our mtb tubulars have are: the lowest rolling resistance possible (lower than the tubeless tyres), excellent grip, superior confortand reliability (weight is definitely NOT the main reason for chosing a tubular). Completely hand made with a Corespun K 290 TPI (cotton and kevlar) casing and a 55 Shore A compound these tubulars are the hot ticket for XC racers aiming at the top (top per formance and reliability). A tire that nicely falls in between the Mezcal (dry, compact) and the Barro Mountain (wet, loose). low rolling resistance thanks to the central uninterrupted knobs that enhance speed on compact ground; aggressive and predictable tire when cornering even on loose surfaces thanks to the Rails Design profile optimized for dry and compact conditions; 2.00 size is ideal for XC application. sizable air volume and Tuned Spring Rate Casing (phase 3.1) gives for a comfortable and, at the same time, aggressive tire for different applications; predictable and fast.
