Product Description
In support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Giordana offers this jersey in a white with pink colorway. A portion of the proceeds from each sale will go to help the fight against cancer. New ultra-light fabric, Asteria™, is used for the majority of the jersey, keeping the overall weight of the piece to a minimum. A second fabric, Ametista™, lends the Carbon element to the FR-C name. Ametista has threads of carbon woven through it, allowing the material to be lighter, while maintaining its strength. The carbon reinforces durability and also limits stretch in key areas. It also reduces electrical interference around internal organs while Ametista negates the need for grippers, holding the jersey in place. A third fabric, Antigua™, is used to back Ametista at the cuffs and waist to create airflow and keep the skin cool and dry. A fourth fabric, MCK™, forms the Y shape of the back panel to limit the vertical stretch in the back and stabilize the pockets, preventing sag when they’re loaded. The shape of the panel eliminates puckers and creases by ergonomically following the body’s contours. A separate pattern piece wraps the collar to isolate the neck and head, preventing pulling and bunching in the riding position. Finally, the rest of the jersey is constructed of X-Fine, a micro-mesh fabric that allows maximum breathability. The jersey is sewn with flat stitched seams and has a full CamLock™ zip in front with flaps of fabric at the top and bottom to protect the materials from the zipper teeth. Three back pockets are finished in piping that corresponds to the accent flat stitching and there is fourth zippered compartment for valuables. Reflective elements on the center back pocket increase visibility. All Giordana Body Clone™ products are fully warranted to the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of retail purchase.
