Product Description
The FormaRed-Carbon™ Light Weight Jacket is probably the most versatile piece in the Body Clone™ category and is appropriate for a wide range of temperatures. This jacket can be worn with just a base layer to block wind on a crisp day or with the FR-Carbon jersey for more protection in colder weather. Constructed with new Versatect™ fabric, the jacket skips the insulation of an inner fleece layer, but has premium wind-blocking power thanks to a new ultra thin flexible water and windproof membrane. The outermost surface has a titanium treatment, which provides protection from the UV rays that are still harmful in the winter months. Unlike most stiff wind-blocking materials, this jacket provides excellent protection from weather, yet retains elasticity to bend and conform to movements on the bike. Enhancing that fit is Moovix HD™ fabric that stretches in all directions due to its unique honeycomb knit. The reverse CamLock™ full front zipper is protected by an inner flap for blocking wind that rolls over at the top/neck to prevent snags. Sealing out the elements is a fully-lined collar at the neck and a silicone injected logo elastic gripper at the hem. A combination light elastic and Ametista AV™ Gripper holds the cuffs in place. Four needle flat-stitching is used throughout. There are three rear pockets and an additional fourth zipped compartment with rubber pull tab that conveniently holds a phone or MP3 player. The rear zipper along with Giordana logos front and back are reflective for added visibility.
