Product Description
The Women’s FormaRed-Carbon™ jacket parallels the men’s in technological supremacy, but with a Women’s Contour Fit.™ It is the only heavy-duty winter outer layer designed to keep you toasty in temperatures well below freezing. The first thing you’ll notice about this jacket is how lightweight it is and warm at the same time. The main front and rear panels are impervious to the elements. Powerful TriGuard™ material makes up the majority and is comprised of several layers. The outermost layer of defense is Meryl Actisystem, which has a titanium treatment to filter out UV rays. Next is a new thinner and more flexible WindTex® water and windproof membrane. The inner layer is soft polypropylene pile for warmth. Accent panels of Aerofix AV™ also incorporate a WindTex membrane and add the benefits of carbon threads on the outside. The innermost Antigua™ layer utilizes its unique semi-perforated structure to trap body heat and maintain a constant body temperature. Side panels of Super Roubaix provide just a bit of breathability with a soft fleecy inside. The reverse CamLock™ full front zipper is protected by an inner flap for blocking wind that rolls over at the top/neck to prevent snags. Sealing out the elements is a fully-lined extended collar at the back of the neck and a silicone injected logo elastic gripper system at the hem. Four needle flat-stitching is used throughout. 12cm zippered cuffs allow you to open up the wrist for easy maneuvering in and out of the jacket, as well as adjustment of gloves. Reflective piping on the zippers at the cuffs and in back as well as reflective logos add visibility. There are three rear pockets and a fourth zipped compartment with rubber pull tab that conveniently holds a phone or MP3 player. Recommended for temperatures below 45º F.
