Product Description
The FR-Carbon jacket is the only heavy-duty outer layer you’ll need in any winter weather conditions and is designed to keep you comfortable in temperatures well below freezing. It is lightweight and warm, using powerful TriGuard™ material with the outermost layer of defense in Meryl Actisystem, which has a titanium treatment to filter out UV rays. Next is a WindTex water and windproof membrane. The inner layer is soft polypropylene pile for warmth. Accent panels of triple layer Aero fix AV™ also incorporate a WindTex membrane and add the benefits of carbon threads on the outside. The innermost Antigua™ layer utilizes its unique semi-perforated structure to trap body heat and maintain a constant body temperature. The reverse CamLock™ full front zipper is protected by an inner flap for blocking wind that rolls over at the top/neck to prevent snags. Sealing out the elements is a fully-lined extended collar at the back of the neck, and at the hem, both the Aerofix AV™ Gripper System and silicone injected logo elastic gripper systems. Four needle flat-stitching is used throughout. 14cm zippered cuffs allow you to open up the wrist for easy maneuvering in and out of the jacket, as well as adjustment of gloves. There is reflective piping on the zippers at the cuffs and in back as well as reflective logos for visibility. Three rear pockets are backed in breathable fleece Roubaix and a fourth zipped compartment with rubber pull tab conveniently holds a phone or MP3 player. Recommended for temperatures below 45º F
